Italian GP tyre compound choices confirmed by Pirelli
Pirelli have confirmed that Formula 1 teams will have the Supersoft, soft and medium compound tyres available to select at the Italian Grand Prix. The Monza circuit is known for its low tyre degradation. The straights are long, and the corners come few and far between causing low stress on the tyre. Even with this tyre selection, it's unlikely that we'll see many pitstops whilst in Italy. Last week, Lewis Hamilton urged fans to vote for more pitstops in the sports because he believes this will make it more interesting.
