Toto Wolff remains concerned for mechanics in the pits

Charlie Whiting lowered the speed limit in the pit-lane earlier amid safety concerns. The limit for the French Grand Prix this weekend is down 20km/h to 60km/h and whilst Toto Wolff is pleased this has happened, he remains concerned about his mechanics. At the top of the pit-lane, there is a tight left turn in front of Mercedes mechanics. Wolff insists that more safety measures need to be added to ensure his mechanics are safe during the race, especially as rain is forecast.  “We had some terrible accidents with dreadful injuries, cars aquaplaning into people, and into pit equipment,” Wolff told Autosport. “Tomorrow with rain, clearly the garage entry is a worry.
