Bottas: Second was the maximum for Mercedes

Valtteri Bottas believes that second place was the best Mercedes could do in Canada after Sebastian Vettel dominated proceedings in Montreal from lights out. The Finn did gain a position off the line on Max Verstappen but couldn't catch the race winner. "Since lap one they seemed to be a bit quicker all the time and they could control the race. We were really pushing on it but we got in trouble at the end with running out of fuel which allowed Max to close up. "I think this was the maximum today.
