Ricciardo holds on for Monaco F1 win after engine issue

Daniel Ricciardo held on for a hard-earned Formula 1 victory in Sunday's Monaco Grand Prix, managing an irreperable issue on his Renault power unit to keep Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel at bay and record his second win of the 2018 season. Two years on from the pit error that denied him a sure-fire victory in Monaco, Ricciardo had redemption on his mind heading into Sunday's race, and had done his chances a world of good by putting himself on pole position in impressive fashion.
