Monaco boring compared to Indy 500 - Alonso

Fernando Alonso says the Monaco Grand Prix is boring compared to the Indianapolis 500, as he makes his return to Monte Carlo after skipping the race in order to take part at the Brickyard last year. Alonso almost won the Indy500 on his debut a year ago, but says he has no hopes of success back at Monaco. The claim is the latest in a long line of exasperated Alonso observations about F1's "predictable" nature. With a move to McLaren having effectively ended his hopes of winning a third F1 title, Alonso is instead targeting becoming just the second driver to win the 'Triple Crown' of Monaco, Indy and Le Mans 24 Hours - which he will tackle with Toyota later this year.
