Hamilton: I felt that synergy today – Lewis Hamilton said that the Mercedes team showed its true force today at the Spanish Grand Prix. Hamilton dominated the race from lights to flag to take the victory. Finishing over 20 seconds ahead of his Mercedes team-mate Valtteri Bottas who gave the team a 1-2 finish. Hamilton took his second consecutive victory in an emphatic style completely in control. As a result the four-time world champion extends his lead in the championship to 17 points over rival Sebastian Vettel, stating he felt 'that synergy' between him and the car.
