Williams designer leaves after 12 years in the role

Ed Wood has decided to leave Williams due to “personal reasons”. The 50-year old has spent more than a decade with the team after joining in 2006. He had previously worked for Ferrari and Renault before joining Williams and leaves the team after a poor start to the season. Williams sit bottom of the constructors’ standings with only four points, all scored by Lance Stroll. Williams released a statement on Wood’s departure.
