FIA rejects Williams' request for review of Baku stewards' decisions

The FIA saw no new evidence presented by Williams to warrant a review of several of the Azerbaijan Grand Prix's stewards decisions, therefore rejecting the team's protest. Williams sought to contest a series of decisions by the Baku stewards, one of which involved its driver Sergey Sirotkin who was handed a grid penalty for next weekend's Spanish Grand Prix following a collision with Force India's Sergio Perez. Williams also called into question the actions of Fernando Alonso who drove his heavily damaged McLaren back to the pits on the opening lap of the race after a three-way clash also involving Sirotkin and Renault's Nico Hulkenberg.
