Aitkin to get Renault practice outing
Jack Aitkin is set to make his Renault Formula One debut at the post-Spanish Grand Prix test at the Circuit de Catalunya. Aitkin is currently racing in Formula Two with the ART team and is the reserve driver for the Renault team. The Briton has driven an F1 car before at Jerez last season in which he drove the Lotus E20 from the 2012 season. He also took part in a Renault demo event in France last week where he drove the same car. Aitkin is set to drive on the second day of the Barcelona test, taking over the driving responsibilities from Carlos Sainz. He is currently sat seventh in the Formula Two standings after a strong result in the feature race in Azerbaijan.
