Hamilton criticises Miami street race proposal

Lewis Hamilton has expressed dissatisfaction with Liberty Media's proposed circuit for the Miami Grand Prix and has called on Formula 1's hierarchy to give him a say in how the track is designed. Widespread reaction from fans has mirrored that of the four-time world champion, with its long straights criticised. An image shared on social media by district commissioner Ken Russell shows a route through downtown Miami and over the Port Boulevard bridge to Dodge Island. The track will also circle the American Airlines Arena, home of NBA's Miami Heat, and the Freedom Tower.
