Sauber parts company with F1 tech chief Jorg Zander

Sauber has announced that Technical Director Jorg Zander has left the team with immediate effect. Zander returned to Sauber at the start of 2017, under then-team boss Monisha Kaltenborn, as part of the team’s gradual expansion. The operation’s addition of staff included the recruitment of Jan Monchaux as its new Head of Aerodynamics last month but Sauber announced on Wednesday that Zander has left the team. “We would like to thank him for his dedication and we wish Jörg all the best and success for the future,” Sauber confirmed in a short statement. “Until a new organisation will be announced, the various heads of departments and the current project...
