Singapore Airlines extends F1 race title sponsorship

Singapore Airlines will continue to act as the title sponsor for the Singapore Grand Prix for the next two years after confirming a contract extension with Formula 1 officials earlier this week. Singapore Airlines first became the title sponsor for the night race at the Marina Bay Street Circuit in 2014 on a two-year deal, before signing an extension for a further two years that expired after last September's race. An extended deal was announced on Wednesday, stretching to the 2019 race, with the existing contract for Singapore to remain on the F1 calendar running until 2021.
