Pirelli confirms F1 tyre choices for French GP

Pirelli has confirmed its tyre choices for the French Grand Prix's Formula 1 return in June, offering teams the Soft, Supersoft and Ultrasoft compounds for the Paul Ricard weekend. The French Grand Prix returns to the F1 calendar this year after 10 years away, last being held at Magny-Cours in 2008, with Paul Ricard making its first race appearance on the sport's schedule since 1990. As usual, Pirelli will bring three compounds to the grand prix, with the Ultrasoft being reserved for qualifying. Either the Supersoft or Soft tyre must be used by drivers during the race.
