Zak Brown appointed McLaren F1 team CEO in reshuffle

Zak Brown has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of the McLaren F1 team, in the wake of a restructuring at the organisation. The McLaren Group previously consisted of two divisions: McLaren Technology Group, which comprised McLaren Racing, McLaren Applied Technologies, and McLaren Marketing; and McLaren Automotive. On Tuesday, the McLaren Group confirmed that it is now formed of ‘three clear divisions’: Applied Technologies, Automotive and Racing. The layer of McLaren Technology Group is being dissolved from its corporate structure.
