K-Mag ‘not taking anything for granted'

Kevin Magnussen is taking a 'cautious' approach heading into Bahrain as there is 'no guarantee' Haas will be strong again. Even though the opening weekend of the 2018 season ended in a double DNF for Haas, both drivers were on course for a top five finish and have irked their midfield rivals, who want an investigation into Haas' relationship with Ferrari as a result. But while Haas are whipping up a frenzy in the paddock, Magnussen is trying to stay grounded. 'It was good to have a competitive car in Australia.
