Abiteboul: We don't want to be developing two engines in parallel

Renault F1 chief Cyril Abiteboul has called for Liberty Media and the FIA to freeze the current generation Formula 1 power units for the final two years of the lifespan of these regulations, citing the expense of developing this era's power units in tandem with the production of engines that will run under 2021 rules. Abiteboul told Motorsport Network, 'The one thing we will not want to do is to have the burden of developing two engines in parallel.'
