Welcome to our live and interactive coverage of the 2018 Formula One season. The action starts with a trip to the beautiful Albert Park circuit in Melbourne where the season-opening Grand Prix is set to take place. Lewis Hamilton is pole today after a stunning final lap in qualifying with the two Ferraris set for second and third place on the grid. It's new season but not much has changed on the form sheet, it seems. There have been a few changes in the off-season, with the biggest being the implementation of the halo over the drivers' heads as the sport looks to further protect drivers.
