F1 bosses set for latest Copenhagen visit next week
Plans for a Danish Grand Prix around the streets of Copenhagen are continuing to gather steam as Formula 1 bosses prepare to visit the proposed location for the race next Wednesday. As part of new F1 owner Liberty Media's plan to take the sport to more destination cities around the world and expand the calendar, a proposal for a race in Denmark arose in July, with preliminary meetings taking place. According to multiple reports in the Danish press, plans are now set to push on when F1 CEO and chairman Chase Carey visits Copenhagen on January 10 to meet with the figures behind the race.
