Mick Schumacher to stay put in European F3 in 2018

Mick Schumacher will undertake a second season of European F3 in 2018, the 18-year-old remaining with front-running squad Prema. In 2017, the son of F1 legend Michael Schumacher concluded his maiden F3 campaign 12th in the junior championship, and as the third best rookie behind series winner Lando Norris and Jehan Daruvala. Italy's La Gazzetta dello Sport is reporting that a 2018 contract between Mick Schumacher and Prema should be agreed "in the next few days". Luca Baldisseri, who worked with Michael Schumacher at Ferrari and oversaw the Scuderia's driver academy, has taken on an active role alongside the young German driver.
