Ericsson ‘optimistic' of a big step in 2018

Point-less in 2017, Marcus Ericsson believes Alfa Romeo Sauber will take a 'big step' forward next season. Last week Sauber confirmed that the Swede would remain with the team for a fourth successive season despite failing to score a single point in 2017. Ericsson, who beat Antonio Giovinazzi to the second Sauber seat, will partner rookie driver Charles Leclerc in what will be a new era for Sauber.
