Lauda could head into retirement after 2020
Mercedes non-executive chairman Niki Lauda could call it a day at the end of 2020 and terminate his involvement in Formula 1. The 68-year-old Grand Prix legend recently announced that he would relinquish his role as TV pundit with Germany's RTL. But Lauda insists he's not winding down his professional activities, at least not yet. Lauda quits TV gig with German broadcaster RTL "I'm already at every race, but now I have no secondary tasks and I can be there 100 per cent for Mercedes," Lauda told Bild am Sonntag.
