Analysis: How Liberty plans to end F1’s grid penalty ‘farce’
Formula 1's new chiefs believe grid penalties in the sport have become obscene in both amount and frequency as of late. And while there is no easy solution, they have a plan to address the issue going forward. Ross Brawn is a man known for having a calm and well-reasoned approach to any problem, so when he bandies around the word 'farce' in relation to grid penalties, it makes you sit up and pay attention.
