Aston Martin "encouraged" by 2021 F1 engine plans

Aston Martin CEO Andy Palmer says he is "encouraged" by the direction of the 2021 engine plans that were presented by Formula 1 bosses on Tuesday. F1 teams met with the FIA, the commercial rights holder and potential new manufacturers, including Aston Martin, in Paris to outline the objectives of the new engine rules to be introduced for 2021. Aston has recruited staff with F1 experience, including personnel from Ferrari, as it evaluates entering the championship as an engine supplier.
