Verstappen: Vettel to blame for Singapore Turn 1 carnage

Max Verstappen has pointed the finger at Sebastian Vettel for causing the Turn 1 crash that caused both drivers to retire from Sunday's Formula 1 race in Singapore, as well as eliminated Kimi Raikkonen. Starting in damp conditions, Verstappen made a good start and moved to the inside of pole-man Vettel, only to be pinched between the two Ferraris and send Raikkonen into a spin. Verstappen then had a secondary hit with Fernando Alonso's McLaren, causing significant damage to his car that forced him to retire from the race immediately. When asked who was to blame for the crash, Verstappen said: “I think mainly Sebastian, he started squeezing me. Maybe he didn’t see Kimi on the left....
