– Carlos Sainz Jr. expressed his delight at delivering a "perfect" weekend for Toro Rosso in Singapore after confirmation that he will be joining Renault next season.Sainz Jr. is contesting his third campaign with Red Bull's junior team but will be loaned out to Renault for 2018, replacing Jolyon Palmer as Nico Hülkenberg's team-mate.And just a couple of days after the announcement, in a dramatic wet/dry race at Marina Bay, he starred en route to fourth position, his best result in Formula 1 so far.Reports have suggested that Sainz Jr. could move to Renault as early as the next round in Malaysia, with the manufacturer keen to maximise its points potential in the battle for...
