Singapore signs new four-year F1 deal

– Singapore has signed a new four-year deal to host a round of the Formula 1 championship, keeping it on the calendar until at least the 2021 season.Singapore arrived on the scene in 2008 as Formula 1's inaugural night race and in 2012 signed a new five-year deal, confirming its spot until 2017.Earlier this year, doubt was cast over Singapore's future in the sport when it was one of two countries, along with China, to be listed as provisional on the 2018 roster.However, Formula 1 CEO Chase Carey made clear in the build up to this year's event that the city-state has a long-term place on the roster.And in a special press conference on Friday, event and Formula 1 chiefs announced that...
