Grid penalties confirmed for Red Bull drivers, Sainz

Red Bull drivers Daniel Ricciardo and Max Verstappen, as well as Toro Rosso's Carlos Sainz, will take grid penalties at the Italian Grand Prix, it was confirmed on Friday. Verstappen and Ricciardo are expected to take 15- and 20-place penalties respectively as Renault brings in new engine elements in anticipation of the Singapore GP, where a grid drop would be very costly. Sainz will be hit with a 10-place penalty. Ricciardo has taken his fifth V6, fifth turbo and sixth MGU-H, which should equate to 20 places. Verstappen is using his fifth V6 and fifth MGU-H.
