Williams struggles in both Friday sessions

A very disappointing Friday for Williams as Felipe Massa crashed the car during his first timed-lap in FP1 while Lance Stroll's afternoon session was disturbed by rain. The information gathered could still help the team to better prepare the cars for tomorrow's sessions. Massa returned to racing after missing out on the Hungarian race but was unable to put mileage as he lost the car in Turn Seven, causing some serious damage. The team changed the chassis and that will be re-scrutineered on Saturday morning so he can run in FP3. "A session to forget for me", said Massa.
