McLaren confirms Stoffel Vandoorne will stay for 2018 season

McLaren have confirmed that Stoffel Vandoorne will remain with the team for the 2018 season. The Belgian rookie joined the team as a full-time driver alongside Fernando Alonso for the 2017 season on a one-year deal with options, which McLaren have now taken up, however his team-mate remains an unknown with Alonso yet to decide his racing future.
