Hamilton edges Vettel in FP3 before rain
– Lewis Hamilton posted the fastest ever lap around the new Silverstone circuit en route to topping Saturday's final practice session at the British Grand Prix, before rain arrived and locked in the timesheets.Hamilton led the way on Soft tyre compound early on, clocking a time of 1:28.747, and improved to a 1:28.063 on the Super Soft rubber.Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel managed to split the Mercedes pair, going purple in the first two sectors, before a small error at Stowe, to finish just 0.032s back.Valtteri Bottas, who topped Friday's sessions before taking on a new gearbox, which will result in a five-place grid drop, was a further 0.042s adrift.Kimi Räikkönen failed to match the...
