Renault drivers to race in Star Wars suits

– Renault drivers Nico Hülkenberg and Jolyon Palmer will race with Star Wars-themed suits in Sunday's Monaco Grand Prix, to celebrate ruby anniversaries.2017 marks 40 years since French manufacturer Renault first entered Formula 1, and the theatrical release of the original Star Wars film, 'Star Wars: A New Hope'.'Star Wars: A New Hope' launched in theatres on May 25, 1977, and Renault's ground-breaking turbo-charged RS01 debuted at Silverstone on July 16, 1977.Hülkenberg will sport a Stormtrooper suit, while Palmer will wear an X-wing pilot suit."1977 was an exciting year for both Renault and Star Wars," commented Renault Sport Managing Director Cyril Abiteboul of the...
