McLaren ‘committed' to Honda

McLaren will remain with Honda power in 2018 despite rumours linking them to a deal with Mercedes. McLaren, who won races and championships with Honda in the 1980s, rejoined forces with the Japanese manufacturer in 2015. The reunion has been anything but a success. The only team yet to score a single point this season, McLaren have been linked to a return to Mercedes power. Zak Brown, though, says they are sticking with Honda. The executive director told GPUpdate.net: 'We have been very consistent and we are committed to Honda. 'There will be no change.'
