Alonso suffers more Honda woe

Fernando Alonso 2017 F1 woes took another turn for the worse in Practice One for his home Spanish GP when his McLaren's Honda engine failed on the first lap. A day after the two-time world champion warned that he would have no choice but to look at alternative drives if the McLaren-Honda package did not soon start showing race-winning potential for 2018, Alonso's MCL32 broke down at the second corner with smoke billowing from the rear of the car.
