De Vries to focus on F2 over McLaren
– Nyck de Vries says his "prime focus" will be on Formula 2 in 2017, as he prepares to step up to F1's main feeder category, alongside his junior role at McLaren-Honda.Dutch racer de Vries, who joined McLaren's Young Driver Programme in 2010, will graduate to FIA F2 with Rapax, after placing sixth in GP3 last year, with two wins.Alongside his racing duties, de Vries will continue his affiliation with McLaren, involving regular simulator work at the team's headquarters in Woking."Well, I'm going to have a busy year!
