Renault: ERS issue 'magnified' during tests
– Renault engine chief Rémi Taffin says that an ERS issue detected on the manufacturer's dyno has been "magnified" during testing, but expects a resolution for the first round in Australia.Jolyon Palmer was restricted to 53 laps during Thursday's running at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, as Renault completed more mileage than only McLaren, lagging behind the bulk of its rivals.Palmer was also delayed on Tuesday and Wednesday amid Renault's early-2017 problems, but Taffin is optimistic that a fix will be put in place for the season-opening race in two weeks' time."We have a completely new power unit for 2017 and we have been mileage-limited with an element on the...
