Massa fastest whilst McLaren, Renault hit trouble

Barcelona Testing – Felipe Massa was the fastest on the opening day of the second pre-season test, whilst McLaren and Renault had troubled days. The Williams driver did a lap time of 1:19.726 on the supersoft tyre, just two hundredths slower than the fastest time of the first test last week set by Valtteri Bottas. He set it in the final thirty minutes of the morning session, taking the top spot from Daniel Ricciardo who led the majority of the session. He remained second with his time set on the ultrasofts.
