Mercedes W08 runs at Silverstone ahead of launch

Mercedes have run the W08 at Silverstone for filming ahead of their official launch on Thursday afternoon. Lewis Hamilton completed a series of slow filming laps in the car, with Valtteri Bottas due to take the car out in the afternoon. The car notably does not feature a shark fin on the rear bodywork, although Mercedes are expected to be testing one shortly. Also the floor features intricate detailing in aerodynamics. Mercedes will be the fourth team to official unveil their car, as Sauber, Renault and Force India have already launched their cars this week.
