Alonso ‘really ready and eager' for 2017

McLaren's Eric Boullier has said Fernando Alonso is raring to go and will relish the challenge that the new cars for this season will bring. The two-time World Champion finished 10th in last season's World Drivers' Championship standings with his best result coming in Monaco and the United States with respective fifth-place finishes. But, Boullier believes Alonso's previous experience of the added physical pressures that the drivers will face this season will speak volumes. 'He's been working very, very hard this winter and he's really ready and eager,' Boullier told Sky Sports News HQ.
