Permane, Pilbeam take on Vasseur tasks

– Renault's Managing Director, Cyril Abiteboul, has revealed that Alan Permane and Ciaron Pilbeam will take on the tasks carried out by former team boss Frédéric Vasseur.Permane acts as Trackside Operations Director at Renault, while the French manufacturer poached Pilbeam from McLaren as its new Chief Race Engineer in December.Abiteboul had been expected to assume further responsibilities following Vasseur's exit, which was announced last month, but has now made clear that this will not be the case."No, but I will be at every race and attend the team chief meetings," Abiteboul explained to German publication Auto Motor und Sport, when asked if he was now at the...
