Twitter reacts to F1 changes
1 drivers, pundits and journalists took to Twitter to react to the news that Bernie Ecclestone will no longer be running Formula 1. New owners Liberty Media have completed their buyout of the sport and Chase Carey takes over as chairman and CEO, with Ross Brawn, the former Ferrari and Mercedes chief, appointed as motor sport managing director and Sean Bratches, an American TV sports executive, becoming commercial operations managing director. “McLaren welcomes Chase Carey and Liberty Media to the #F1 family – they will take F1 forward and make it bigger & better.” – @ZBrownCEO pic.twitter.com/lKOioJjwv4
