Renault reveals RS17 F1 2017 car launch date Renault has become the fourth F1 team to confirms the launch date and venue for its 2017 F1 car, saying the unveil will come off on February 21. Pre-season testing with 2017's new generation cars starts at Barcelona on February 27. The French F1 squad will have Nico Hulkenberg joining Jolyon Palmer in its driver line-up for 2017. Last year machine RS16 finished ninth in the constructors’ championship with just three points finishes to its name. Renault confirmed on Friday that it will be unveiling its new car on February 21 before its first pre-season test run in Barcelona on February 27.
