Mercedes: No Rosberg replacement decision until next year

  The saga regarding who will replace Nico Rosberg at Mercedes will drag into the new year as no announcement is expected before 3 January according to a team spokesperson. The spokesperson added that the final decision may be made even later in the month, but it is expected to happen before the first test in Barcelona. Valtteri Bottas is the driver Mercedes want to team up with Lewis Hamilton but the Finn is integral to Williams' 2017 plans, needing his experience to lead the team and their rookie driver Lance Stroll.
