Williams Formula 1 technical chief Pat Symonds says losing Valtteri Bottas to Mercedes would have “heavy consequences” on the team. Nico Rosberg’s shock exit from F1 days after claiming his first title has left a vacant seat at reigning world champions’ Mercedes.
