Button receives honorary degree from University of Bath

 XPB Images The University of Bath has awarded 2009 Formula One world champion Jenson Button an honorary degree of Doctor of Engineering. The Briton attended the university’s Winter Award Ceremonies on Tuesday and was presented by Dr Geraint Owen who hailed Button as “a perfect role model for any up and coming sportsman”. The 36-year stepped down from his race seat following a 17-year F1 career that saw him make 305 grand prix start, win 15 races, secure 50 podium and claim eight pole positions and fastest laps. Although he remains under contract with McLaren-Honda through 2018, Button admitted in Abu Dhabi that the 2016 season finale was probably his final race. Below...
