Palmer confident Magnussen 'will do well' at Haas

 XPB Images Jolyon Palmer believes his soon-to-be ex-Renault team-mate Kevin Magnussen “will do well” with the Haas F1 Team. The Danish driver has joined the US outfit on a multi-year deal, after turning down an offer from the French manufacturer due to what he perceived as “a lack of commitment”. Palmer, who has been retained by Renault for 2017, will have partnered Magnussen for a single season but this has been enough for the Briton to acknowledge his future rival’s qualities. “Kevin’s a good guy, a great racer and fun to work with,” Palmer said. “I think we’ve worked well together this year when we’ve known we’ve had to push to get the most out of the...
