Daniil Kvyat: “I was hoping for more”

Daniil Kvyat finished the Brazilian Grand Prix thirteenth after an early puncture and a damaged car saw him struggle with the balance of his STR11 at the Autódromo José Carlos Pace. The Scuderia Toro Rosso driver was running competitively early in the extremely wet conditions in Brazil only to find himself hit from behind by Jolyon Palmer that caused the damage and meant a trip to the pits for repairs, and from there on he was always fighting back through the field from the back. The Russian admitted it was disappointing to find himself put out of position through no fault of his own, and believed he could have finished inside the points but for the Palmer clash and subsequent damage....
