Ferrari protégé Leclerc poised for GP2 step
– Ferrari-backed youngster Charles Leclerc will graduate to the GP2 Series next year, Haas team boss Guenther Steiner has confirmed.Leclerc joined Ferrari's young driver scheme at the start of the season and has acted as Haas' development driver, along with a campaign in the GP3 Series, which he leads with one round left.Leclerc had been linked to a Formula 1 drive with Haas for 2017 but Steiner has revealed that the Monegasque racer will step up to GP2.Steiner did not confirm with which team the 19-year-old will compete."Charles has done a good job for the team," Steiner explained, ahead of Leclerc's planned FP1 run in Brazil this weekend, in which he will replace Esteban...
