Felipe Massa: “It was a really difficult race'

Felipe Massa admits that it was difficult but was pleased to score points in the Mexican Grand Prix, but the Brazilian revealed that he suffered with tyre degradation throughout the race on his way to finish ninth. “It was a really difficult race,' said Massa.  'I was really happy with the first lap because I made a lot of overtakes and got up to sixth. I stopped to put on the medium tyres and suffered on the first 15 laps with those, the same as in practice.” The Williams Martini Racing driver battled with Sergio Perez throughout the race and managed to keep the Mexican driver behind at his home race. “Lap-by-lap I picked up the grip and fought for the whole race with Perez.
