Marcus Ericsson: “We can all be satisfied with today’s performance”

Marcus Ericsson once again showed strong qualifying form as the Sauber F1 Team racer made it through to the second segment of qualifying at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez on Saturday. The Swedish driver has been out-performing team-mate Felipe Nasr during qualifying in recent rounds, and will start fifteenth on the grid for Sunday’s Mexican Grand Prix after a great lap during Q1 saw him move into Q2 with his team-mate down in nineteenth. Ericsson admitted after the session that he was happy to put in a good lap that was enough for him to progress, and hopes that he can be in the hunt for a first points finish of the season on Sunday. “Another decent qualifying for us,” said...
