F1 drivers against Ecclestone 'wall' proposal
– Formula 1 drivers have spoken out against Bernie Ecclestone's proposal that Grand Prix circuits should build walls around corners to discourage the field from exceeding track limits.Ecclestone, who turns 86 on Friday, made the comments after the issue again came under the spotlight at the United States Grand Prix, with drivers routinely taking to vast areas of run-off."In [the old] days, and it can't happen again, people would come to a race and think somebody could get killed," Formula 1 supremo Ecclestone was quoted as saying by news agency Reuters."Today they know they come to a race and nobody is going to get killed, which is good."He also stated: "I've...
